Northampton Lighthouse

The Northampton Lighthouse was built in 1980 by the Express Lift Company as their lift testing tower and was opened by The Queen in 1982. It achieved a Grade II listing in October 1997 for its architectural interest.

The slender, parabolic building has become a notable landmark and is visible from most parts of the town of Northampton and also from the M1 motorway.

Tower of London

The Tower of London historical site is one of Britain's most popular travel destinations.

It has been the seat of British government and the living quarters of monarchs, the site of renown political intrigue, and the repository of the Crown Jewels.

The Tower has housed lions, bears, and (to this day) flightless ravens, as well as seeing the executions of notorious traitors and framed members of court, lords and ministers, clergymen and knights. There is good reason why it is also known as the Bloody Tower!
