Heathrow is the world's busiest international airport. Regarded as the hub of the aviation world, over 90 airlines have made Heathrow their base.
It has four (soon to be five) terminals through which pass over 63 million passengers a year on their way to approximately 170 destinations. The airport uses two main runways, plus there is a cross wind runway which is rarely used.
